About this Budgie Cushion Cover
Jenny makes all budgie cushion covers by hand at hr home in Wootton, near Bedford, UK. This particular budgerigar cushion cover is bold, bright and beautiful. The idea for the background pattern is a fusion of tribal and geometric patterns, the origins of which is the cere on a budgie (the 'nose').
Why orange? 'Budgies aren't orange' you may say however there's nothing wrong with a bit of artistic license occasionally! The orange actually complements the bold pattern of the budgie cushion cover itself. They work well together and look very contemporary in any setting.
The back of the cushion is made from a mock suede fabric and the cover itself is zipped so you can change the filler easily. Made from a set of six designs originally, there are only a few left now:
